Have you ever retreated into hiding because of something done to you or an event that left you shaken and unsure? It’s easy to give into those fears and allow them to speak over our lives resulting in us being over-protective of ourselves. We retreat. Locked away in a prison of our own making, we redecorate the walls with fear designed to keep us secluded, longing for peace but never finding it. Jesus searches for us and enters through our barricaded doors bringing peace into a room thick with fear.
