This means time savings for you since you no longer have to specify a custom image every time you are creating a notification. Just add you custom image on the notifications settings page. If you do not set a custom default notification image on the settings page, the Hub icon is used.\n\nWhen creating custom notifications, you now have an option to upload an image. If you do not want to upload an image, you have an option to specify an image URL. If you do neither, the default notification image is used.\n\nCustom notifications with attachments can now be created. Each notification can be configured to have up to 10 attachments.\n\nNew App Notification Enhancement\n\nWe recognize that getting a new app notification daily can be overwhelming. As a result, we are changing the frequency of the new app notification from daily to weekly. Your employees will receive weekly new app digest notifications.\n\nIntroducing Hub Assistant - A Virtual Assistant that Empowers a Better Employee Experience\n\nThe Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub Assistant is a virtual assistant that can help employees complete workflows and find answers to company questions through a friendly, conversational chatbot experience. The virtual assistant is powered by IBM Watson for natural language processing and uses Workspace ONE mobile flows to integrate with third-party systems.\n\nFile a support ticket in ServiceNow\nCheck the status of a ticket in ServiceNow\nAnswer common questions, such as What is my corporate credit card policy?\nHub Assistant has an embedded Search skill to query documents, KBs and other repositories using Watson\'s Discovery service. You will need to upload your company\'s documents and resources and train Discovery on the data set to provide relevant answers to your employees\' questions.\n\nNote: The Hub Assistant chatbot is available with Hub iOS 19.12 and on the web portal. Android support will follow.\n\nFavorite Apps Section is Now Its Own Tab\n\nUsers mark their apps as favorite so that they can easily access them again and again. To help them have full access to their favorite apps, the Favorites section is relocated from the catalog tab to its own dedicated tab on the Intelligent Hub portal. Third-party identity providers used can be Okta, Ping Identity, and Microsoft Azure Active Directory\n\nAdded support for the Horizon protocol redirect based on JWT (JSON Web Token) claims.\n\nThis feature is used with the forthcoming Horizon Universal Broker and supports an optimized architecture with Horizon protocol access to desktops and RDS hosted apps that are in a different location to the Horizon broker.\n\nAdded support for setting Host Redirect Mappings.\n\nThe HTTP Host Redirect capability can be used to simplify Horizon load balancing affinity requirements in certain multi VIP UAG environments. After a load balancer selects a UAG appliance, an HTTP redirect is returned so that the Horizon Client connects directly to the selected UAG appliance without further need for load balancer affinity.\n\nHost Redirect Mappings text box added to Horizon Settings in the UAG Admin UI.\n\nAdded support in the UAG Admin UI and REST API to include a new field, which provides the countdown in number of days until the date of admin password expiry.\n\nPassword expires in (days) is shown in the Account Settings page in the UAG Admin UI.\n\nAdded support for defining allow or deny control for multiple error categories in the OPSWAT endpoint compliance checks for Horizon.\n\nShow Allowed Status Codes field added to the Endpoint Compliance Check Provider Settings page in the UAG Admin UI.\n\nAdded support for OPSWAT endpoint compliance checks with Horizon Client on iOS version 5.3.\n\nThis support is in addition to the existing UAG OPSWAT support for Windows and macOS clients.\n\nAdded support for new customized labels for the RADIUS authentication method user prompts to enhance usability.\n\nThe Horizon RADIUS authentication prompt User name and Passcode label text can be configured on UAG.\n\nAdded support to display UAG SEG (Secure Email Gateway) Health and Diagnostics from the Admin UI.\n\nHealth and Diagnostics screens are provided for SEG under the Edge Service Session Statistics section.\n\nWhen SEG is configured with the local SSL certificate, the corresponding certificate thumbprint is displayed under the SEG edge services settings.\n\nAdded support for OCSP configuration through PowerShell\n\nAdded support for JWT audience restriction in Horizon Edge service.\n\nThe JWT audience restriction is a security feature provided by UAG to these Edge services. UAG administrators can restrict the JWT audiences accessing Horizon and backend applications.\n\nSAML Audiences settings added to Horizon and Web Reverse Proxy (with Identity Bridging enabled) Edge services settings in the UAG Admin UI.\n\nProductivity Apps & Tools\n\nVMware Workspace ONE SDK v19.12 for iOS – GA 12/11/2019\n\nNew Features\n\nThe iOS SDK now supports use of the new Tunnel protocol in addition to the legacy proxy protocol.\n\nVMware Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub v19.11 for iOS – GA on 12/11/2019\n\nNew Features\n\nNew Privacy Screen – For Direct MDM enrollments or Step-Up Enrollments, Intelligent Hub will now present a user-friendly data collection screen prior to redirecting to Safari to download the MDM profile. This does not replace the Privacy GDPR module available post enrollment. Instead, this screen supplements the Privacy module in an effort to be transparent with the end user.\n\nHub Assistant – The Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub Assistant is a virtual assistant that can help employees complete workflows and find answers to company questions through a friendly, conversational chatbot experience. The virtual assistant is powered by IBM Watson for natural language processing and uses VMware Mobile Flows to integrate with third-party systems.\n\n\tDropping Support for iOS 10 – Intelligent Hub’s minimum supported version is now iOS 11. For more information, refer to the KB Article which was published in mid-October 2019 informing of the upcoming change.\n\nSelf-Service Support – A new Support tab is added in the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for iOS. Users can now monitor and manage their devices from the Support > My Devices section. They can see detailed information about their devices, add new devices, and install/uninstall profiles. Users can view the Helpful Resources section in the Support tab to find links to direct them to sites and knowledge base articles for self-service help. This feature can be enabled and customized from the Help & Support page in the Hub Services console. The Support tab name can be customized.\n\nNote: When this feature is enabled, the Account page will have an updated layout. The minimum UEM Console requirement for the Self-Service Support is UEM 1908.\n\nVMware Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub v19.12 for macOS – GA on 12/11/2019\n\nNew Features\n\nSupport for Workspace ONE Assist 5.3 – This release provides official integration support for Workspace ONE Assist 5.3 for macOS for screen sharing, remote shell, or file management.\n\nUrgent (P1) Notifications – Through Hub Services, administrators can send out notifications to devices running Intelligent Hub. A notification marked as Urgent can be used to alert users of important messages that require their immediate attention. In version 19.12, these urgent notifications appear as a pop-up in the form of a card which blocks access to the app. The card will overlay on any screen within the app when user is authenticated and is dismissed only when a specific action or acknowledgement is performed. This feature is expected to be used sparingly and with the explicit understanding that the end users will be unable to interact with other Hub features until they action the urgent notification.\n\nMobile Flows Notifications – This version adds the ability for an end user to review and modify their preferences for their Mobile Flows Notifications (i.e. Coupa, Concur, Workday, etc.). End users will have the ability to toggle on and off the notifications for individual connectors configured by their company’s administrator. These settings can be found in Preferences (⌘ + ,) > Notifications.\n\nIf re-authentication is required, a web view will drop down for the end user to enter their credentials for the associated Mobile Flows connector service.\n\nNote changing these settings will apply to all devices the user is signed in to Intelligent Hub.\n\t\nIntroduction of Hub Preferences window – This release brings a new Preferences window for Intelligent Hub. It can be accessed via the macOS Menu Bar > Intelligent Hub > Preferences or with easy keyboard shortcut command-comma (⌘,). Users can view the Helpful Resources section in the Support tab to find links to direct them to sites and knowledge base articles for self-service help. This feature can be enabled and customized from the Help & Support page in the Hub Services console. The Support tab name can be customized.\n\nNote: When this feature is enabled, the Account page will have an updated layout. The minimum UEM Console requirement for the Self-Service Support is UEM 1908.\n\nVMware Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub v19.12 for macOS – GA on 12/11/2019\n\nNew Features\n\nSupport for Workspace ONE Assist 5.3 – This release provides official integration support for Workspace ONE Assist 5.3 for macOS for screen sharing, remote shell, or file management.\n\nUrgent (P1) Notifications – Through Hub Services, administrators can send out notifications to devices running Intelligent Hub. A notification marked as Urgent can be used to alert users of important messages that require their immediate attention. In version 19.12, these urgent notifications appear as a pop-up in the form of a card which blocks access to the app. The card will overlay on any screen within the app when user is authenticated and is dismissed only when a specific action or acknowledgement is performed. This feature is expected to be used sparingly and with the explicit understanding that the end users will be unable to interact with other Hub features until they action the urgent notification.\n\nMobile Flows Notifications – This version adds the ability for an end user to review and modify their preferences for their Mobile Flows Notifications (i.e. Coupa, Concur, Workday, etc.).
