No one gets far into a cancer diagnosis before encountering the reality of pain. Pain from the disease, pain from the surgery, pain from meds, pain from the myriad of poking and prodding our bodies are confronted with. 

If you are in pain today I want to say I am sorry, my heart goes out to you because I've been there. That's why we're getting personal today. 

In part because pain is personal but mainly because I am not a doctor and cannot advise you on the right drugs to soothe your pain. However, I have experienced this kind of pain and what today's episode holds will be soothing medicine for your soul.
