Remain

Listen Later

RE: Main

But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you. You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.  2 Timothy 3:14-15 (NLT)

So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees. Mark out a straight path for your feet… Hebrews 12:12-13 (NLT)

1. Remain faithful in PRAYER.

But if you make yourselves at home with me and my words are at home in you, you can be sure that whatever you ask will be listened to and acted upon. John 15:7 (MSG)

Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. Ephesians 6:18 (NLT)

When the Lamb broke the seventh seal on the scroll, there was silence throughout heaven for about half an hour. I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and they were given seven trumpets. Then another angel with a gold incense burner came and stood at the altar. And a great amount of incense was given to him to mix with the prayers of God’s people as an offering on the gold altar before the throne. The smoke of the incense, mixed with the prayers of God’s holy people, ascended up to God from the altar where the angel had poured them out. Revelation 8:1-4 (NLT)

2. Remain faithful in moving ONE STEP CLOSER to Jesus.

“I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!: John 15:9-11 (NLT)

3. Remain faithful to the TRUTH.

But you are not like that, for the Holy One has given you his Spirit, and all of you know the truth… So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father. And in this fellowship we enjoy the eternal life he promised us. 1 John 2:20, 24-25 (NLT)

4. Remain faithful in my HEART.

Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts. 1John 5:21 (NLT)

“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5 (NLT)
