One Christmas morning, WW2 veteran Bernie Sheffield was surprised to read the front page of his local newspaper and see an article about a special gift his daughter Joy Key had crafted for him. It was the first he'd heard that Key, a cardiac nurse, had knitted him a scarf of wool from Ramses, the mascot of their alma mater UNC Chapel Hill. She'd spun the wool on a spinning wheel her father had crafted for her despite severe nerve injuries to his hands incurred from a machine gun in the war.  Listen as they share their unique story of remarkable gifts.
