In this message from Deuteronomy 11:16–25, we are reminded of the call to live in covenant caution and commitment. God warns His people to take heed against the peril of deception, the pollution of idolatry, and the punishment of His wrath. He then calls us to lay up His words—to educate our children, communicate His truth daily, and saturate our lives with Scripture. Finally, we are challenged to diligently keep His commandments through devotion, dedication, and dependence. This passage teaches us how to guard our hearts, ground our homes, and guide our steps in faithful obedience to the Lord.
