Your heart is established as you remember what God has done for you in your past. Confidence (in God and His faithfulness) and thankfulness are the result. The mistake we too often make is that we remember what we should be forgetting (our hurts, our failures, our disappointments), and we forget what we should be remembering (our victories, our accomplishments, our testimonies)!
