This season of Lent, leading us to Easter 2024, we'll be walking through a series called Wounded Words: Jesus Speaks from the Cross. The series highlights the seven last "words" (phrases) Jesus speaks while being crucified. Themes and quotes from the book Cross-Shattered Christ (by Stanley Hauerwas) will be sprinkled throughout. In this episode, we focus on the two criminals hanging next to Jesus on their own crosses. One hurls insults at Jesus, but the other has a simple request, "remember me."
