Calling on God to remember something seems strange to the modern saint; after all, there should be no need to remind an omniscient God of anything. However, those of older times would disagree; their pleas for God to remember were a call for God to act on their behalf. Two saints stand out in this regard and will be the focus of this sermon. Though two very different men in very different times, both saw their need for the action of God in their lives and both provide insight into our pleas for God’s help.
