Akira Toriyama - One of, if not the most, prolific and influential author in modern fiction. With his sudden and unexpected passing this past week, we at The Yonkō Table wanted to take an opportunity to pay our respects to this creator that shaped so many of our lives by remembering and celebrating his works, what made Dragon Ball mean so much to us, and how it shaped many childhoods for generations to come. While he may not be with us anymore, he will be forever immortalized by the stories he penned, art he illustrated, and works he influenced.

As Eiichiro Oda, author of One Piece, best put it: Wherever you are right now Toriyama, may heaven be the joyous world you envisioned. Rest in Peace
