This sermon, part of a "Hope Revealed" series, teaches that in times of suffering, discouragement, or lost margin in life—like the despair in ruined Jerusalem—we find a remembering hope by calling to mind God's great steadfast love (hesed), unfailing compassions that are new every morning, and great faithfulness (Lamentations 3:21-23), inspiring us to wait on the Lord, as celebrated in the hymn "Great Is Thy Faithfulness," and exemplified in the hopeful "Hosanna" cries on Palm Sunday when Jesus entered as the Lamb of God.
