Last week Friday (O5 August) marked 46 since the death in detention of Mapetla Mohapi. He was the first Black Consciousness Movement leader killed in detention. Police later claimed that he had committed suicide in his cell, but history proved that this was not true even though nobody was found guilty for his death.
