Kamau Franklin, a lawyer and Founder of Community Movement Builders in Atlanta joins the show to discuss the life and politics of New Afrikan Independence Movement organizer Nehanda Isoke Abiodun, who recently passed after spending 30 years in exile in Cuba. Franklin describes Abiodun’s cultural and solidarity work, how she made connections between the Black struggle in America and the Cuban revolution, and the space she occupies within the Black Radical Tradition.
