Sherry Sherrod DuPree

was the recipient of the State of Florida's 1997 Black Achiever's Award in the Religion category. Her contributions to the profession include founding and organizing the DuPree African-American Pentecostal and Holiness Collection at the New York Public Library's Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.
