Remembering Saranac Lake's queen of hats

Ursula Trudeau held a special place in the Saranac Lake community as a highly accomplished artist and a strong supporter of many local institutions.
Trudeau, who passed away earlier this month, was also well known for her collection of hats - top hats, cowboy hats, garden party hats, straw hats from China, Morocco, Russia, and designers from Montreal and New York City, and even a native American headdress.
A few years ago, during an exhibit of her hats at Historic Saranac Lake, Todd Moe sat down with Ursula to talk about head wear.
