I discuss one of the most heinous acts in professional wrestling history, when WWE star Chris Benoit murdered his wife and son and then committed suicide on the weekend of June 22nd-24th, 2007. Benoit was supposed to compete for the ECW Championship against CM Punk at the Vengeance: Night Of Champions pay-per-view event that weekend, but he never showed. When the WWE contacted the authorities to request a welfare check on Benoit, the police made the grisly discovery that would shatter the wrestling world.
