How can you remember what your enemies have done but forget what your God has done?

Commemorate who enslaved and tortured and killed you while ignoring who Freed and delivered you,  rescued and restored you? Acknowledging the evil ones but not The Holy One,  I AM. Proverbs says:

Acknowledge The L-rd Adonai on all  your ways and lean not on your own understanding and HE YHVH will direct your paths.
