The racing world recently lost Warren 'Corny' Schmidt.

Corny hailed from the Leopolis/Pella area and was a big part of Shawano Speedway history dating back several decades. He raced himself and served as a flagman and race director over the years.

We caught up with Corny last year and Corny reflected on some stories from racing over the years. Enjoy these memories. Rest in peace Corny.
