These are love letters Libbie (Elizabeth) wrote to Wilson when he was away working. The letters were written over the course of a year in 1892 and 1893. Libbie was 19 when she wrote these letters and Wilson was 29. In these letters Libby assures Wilson she will swear off dance and remain faithful to church but falls back on that.
