Last week we concluded a series of teachings on the Beatitudes. These are the short pithy statements of Jesus which we find at the beginning of Matthew chapter 5. Today we come to Remembrance Day. There is one Christian hero who combines both of these themes. This Christian hero was killed by direct orders of Hitler at the end of the second world war; and this man both lived and taught the Beatitudes. Who is this?
