The reason why we follow the Lord Jesus Christ 's voice and His teachings, it's so we don't get caught up in a deception that has many blinded to the truth of His Word! We see in the current times and in which we are living, that there is much deception, it is much misleading, and there is great distortion of the Scriptures! And if we are not truly abiding in Jesus and listening to His voice alone, we too, will be led astray back on that broad road and destroyed with everlasting fire!
The Bible tells us in Colossians 2: 7-8, "Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ." (NLT)
THIS MEANS: "Be careful that you do not believe any false teachers. The ideas that they teach may seem clever. But they want to deceive you. Some ideas have come from the human minds of our ancestors. Or ideas that come from spirits that belong to this world. They are not the true message about Christ."
The Lord has not left us clueless about the things that are to take place before He returns! And He warns us to not be deceived by false prophets, nor to be misled into error because many will and have fallen away from the truth!
👉🏾1 Timothy 4:1 - "Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons."
👉🏾Matthew 24:24 - "For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect."
👉🏾2 Corinthians 11:13-15 - "For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds."
Many will turn from sound doctrine and heap upon themselves teachers that will tickle their ears and lure them into immoral freedom! DON'T GET CAUGHT UP IN IT! THESE ARE DECEIVERS AND WORKERS OF SATAN! IT IS THEIR JOB TO SEDUCE YOU WITH FALSE DOCTRINE AND TO LEAD YOU AWAY FROM THE TRUE TEACHINGS OF JESUS CHRIST!
Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
