Mahamudra or “Great Seal” is a meditation system which deals with the nature of mind that aims enlightenment, i.e., the complete elimination of the appearance and of the obstacles which prevent the transcendental realization. At the same time, from a conceptual perspective, it is a means to acquire all the virtues allowing, not only one’s inner development, but also the development of all sentient beings.
