Demon Shade goes looking for trouble. We visit Jewels, who reluctantly sets Demon Shade up with a card game. Shade-O gets a chance to prove himself as Jay Fleischman to one of the Purple Gang’s operators, Mikey Four-Toes. But Demon Shade isn’t as slick as he thinks he is. But that won’t scare the Shadow. He is on a mission to find Benjamin Bernstein and get to the bottom of who is really running things in Renaissance City.
