From the far flung shores of (just outside) Toledo, Chicago-based digital artist René Chaffins has used the past year to create new worlds, “characterized by bold color palettes and the juxtaposition of the unexpected.”

And while for now she’s content to travel and make memories while outside of the borders of the United States, some day, with proper funding, she may eventually travel the stars…in a glass pyramid.
