If you've ever experienced a season of waiting, you know well the dull ache of anticipation. Some two millennia ago, half a world away, John the Baptist came on the scene as the long-awaited voice to prepare God's renewal move. He came proclaiming repentance and the confession of sins to a nation in desperate need for God's presence, God's return.
