A new report from the national housing campaign Everybody’s Home highlights the deepening rental crisis across Australia.

Released on Wednesday, the Out of Reach report shows that average weekly rents in capital cities have jumped by 57 per cent—rising from $473 in 2015 to $742 in 2025.
