In this episode we discuss Ch. 3 of Hosea. this is where God instructs Hosea to restore his marriage to Gomer who has abandoned him for her other lovers. Yet, with much GRACE towards a wayward woman, God wanted Hosea to be wise in his dealings with Gomer going forward into the future.

Moreover, it is an amazing insight to observe here in the restoration phase of Hosea and Gomer’s relationship that even though grace is applied by God through Hosea when their family is reunited; yet, Hosea is not a fool because he is influenced by God to establish order with his wife by creating boundaries that will assist in maintaining family order.

Finally, there is one life application for those that may find themselves one day in a similar broken marriage as Hosea, and that is a marriage should not be restored without a plan that is inspired by God’s Word. A plan that includes strong language that is designed to build the strict boundaries that will be required to bring godly order to the relationship.
