This is an RGB chasing bezel designed for use behind coin/card acceptors to highlight their location and give them a bit of arcade pizzazz. (That's a real word.)

This one was faulty, which makes it even better, as we don't just get to reverse engineer it, but we get to fix it too.

The circuitry is very simple - courtesy of the obligatory microcontroller, but the PCB design is quite complex as it has to fit nine channels of LED control in a slim frame.

There are different sizes of these bezels available for different coin acceptors.
