Danielle LaPoore has a background for over 15 years in counseling and mental health studies. Danielle has always had an entrepreneurial side; that paired with her desire to make a difference and help people made her realize she could do both simultaneously with her own practice, Mind Body Counseling. Danielle encourages the concept that therapy works best when it is collaborative and believes that therapy is one of the most important parts of self-care. Danielle wanted to fill in the gaps she saw in the industry over the years valuing the importance of convenient, quality care. Danielle took to the concept of concierge counseling and is proud to share that as one of the highlights of Mind Body Counseling. Danielle values a holistic approach in the therapeutic relationship with emphasis on the mind and body connection. In sessions, Danielle incorporates several therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavior therapy, reparenting therapy, and mindfulness therapy. Danielle believes therapy doesn’t have to be one sided. It can be an opportunity for interaction and getting to experience each other as real people. Danielle strives to help people overcome their anxiety and stress to find inner peace and healing.
