The Bible says you'll miss what God desires for you if you don't repent. Throughout life we see how preparing yields better, richer results. Spiritually, the Bible tells us the way we prepare for the fullness of Jesus (and to live in his kingdom) is to repent. When we practice a life of regular repentance, we create space for God to work and our relationship with him to flourish.
