The Rev. Gary Beson II is preaching at the 11 am service on March 24th, 2019 at St. John's Church Florence, SC.

Teaching from 1 Corinthians 10:1-13 and Luke 13:1-9

Gary was born in Columbus, Ohio but considers South Carolina his home. His family has lived here since transferring from Tripoli, Libya in 1969. A graduate of Summerville High School and the Citadel, he received his Master of Divinity from Trinity School for Ministry and was ordained a Priest in 2014. He is comfortable with those like himself who have questions and he believes that ambiguity is a strength, not a weakness, when serving the Lord. He is married to Susan, who works at St Paul's Summerville, and they have three children and one daughter-in-law. He loves reading, exercise, good food, and certainly the shared drink among friends.
