We admit that we are all sinners, and God wants us to repent when we trespass. But, when you repent and say “ I’m sorry”….are you sorry for being caught? Are you sorry because you’re ashamed? Are you sorry because of the punishment you will receive? Or are you sorry because you hurt someone? What are you really sorry for? Can you make up for the sin you committed? Can you cover your sin with good works, more money for the church, carrying the guilt to prove you’re sorry?
Our Bible study for this episode focuses on the heart of the matter – who the sin offends, and what God requires for repentance. We will study Psalm 51 - a prayer of King David.
