I’ve been living in ATX as a North Eastern transplant for a while now, and I have noticed a rampant tendency down here for jolly side-swipes dressed in a honey glaze of ‘helpful tips’. I’m calling it the ‘Texas two Cents’,and I’m asking that you round it down to zero.

  Then the exposing of Kristy Noem’s husband’s proclivity for busty prosthetics sent me on a medium dive(you don’t have to dig too deep it turns out)of conservative, traditionalist and Anti gay politicians or public figures who have been exposed as being on the spectrum of the very communities they seek to eradicate. It seems like rampant repression and self hatred is resulting in a whole lot of regressive legislation and oppressive rhetoric. I unpack the frustrating hypocrisy and the feeling of urgency to compel people to live more authentically for the greater good of all of us.

  While fired up about shady dealings, I make a pivot over to the reality scandal of the week. There is a love triangle and betrayal on Bravo show, Summerhouse and it has me thinking about Girl/Bro code, and why some people seem to just uphold it without effort and others seem to believe you need a powerpoint presentation and to stand before a court of law and rigorously defend your right to have feelings for someone or it’s fair game and open season. 

  God forbid you just have a little loyalty and grace for your friends whether or not the genesis and validity of your feelings would hold up in a court of law.
