This week, the U.S. announced it is withdrawing from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF), a bilateral agreement with the U.S.S.R (and Russia thereafter). The Treaty eliminated all intermediate-range, ground-based missile systems. Russia has been widely blamed for non-compliance, calling the value of the INF into question.

Here, in Part Two of the two WarCasts on the INF, Kori Schake, Deputy Director at the International Institute for Strategic Studies and Contributing Editor to War on the Rocks, weighs in.

[ 0:32 ] Introduction

[ 1:25 ] How the world looks now because of the INF

[ 3:46 ] The significance of Russia's violations

[ 6:33 ] Weighing the risk of Russian proliferation after withdrawal
