Mayday is an international radio distress signal used by ships and aircrafts. It’s a word used to signal a life-threatening emergency, letting others know that help is desperately needed. Maybe you’re at a place in your life right now where you need to say, “Mayday. Mayday. Mayday.” Maybe you’re in an emergency situation that makes you feel like your life is out of control. You’re in a tailspin. You’re sinking, and you don’t know how to get out of the mess you’re in. Thankfully, there is hope for salvation, and that hope is found in our Savior, Jesus Christ. All we have to do is cry out to Him and He will save us. So if you’re at a point today where you need saving, I want you to consider these four reasons why you should call out “Mayday” today.
