It’s so easy to waste a lot of time and energy complaining. But there is a cure for complaining - rejoicing. On this 3rd Sunday of Advent, we celebrate Gaudete Sunday. “Gaudete” is one of the Latin words for “rejoice”, and we see in the readings this week and through the example of John the Baptist that we can rejoice in all of life's circumstances by focusing on the Messiah.
