Before starting Panther, Jack was a security engineer at Yahoo and Airbnb, where he learned first-hand how inefficient legacy SIEM platforms are at high-scale detection and response. He built Airbnb’s open-source platform called StreamAlert to solve this problem before leaving to start Panther.
