Dr. Elizabeth MacDonald is a space weather scientist who works at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center She is a co-investigator on the Helium, Oxygen, Proton, and Electron Spectrometer on the NASA Radiation Belts Storm Probe mission. Dr. MacDonald took her research from the lab and allowed everyday citizens to contribute to science by founding the Aurorasaurus Citizen Science mission.
