In Episode 7, Miss K. teams up with Christhefixedkitty over at the Adult Space Child Free Podcast in order to launch a sock KAL.  Since Chris has never before knit a sock, she picked the pattern, the Cabletini Toe-up Socks by Wendy D Johnson. Because this weekend was BayCon, the San Jose-based Sci-Fi convention (this year’s theme was Steampunk),  there is are a few notes on this and the soon to be created Borg Beanie, which I am striving to write a pattern for this week. We shall see if ambition again lays me low.

Sadly, Gail Carriger is again missing from the podcast, and has lamented that her diligent searching hasn’t turned up anything podcast-worthy. Knitting has been conspicuously missing from the fashion pages. However, she assures me that she’ll have a report for us when she returns from the BEAs on Knitwear in New York.
