In this episode of Black Power Moves, part of the Ebony Covering Black America Podcast Network, we're speaking to Darryl Jacobs, the Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for RISING COACHES. https://www.risingcoaches.com/Darryl launched a multi-year diversity plan to engage over 15 grassroots organizations supporting initiatives for women, men, Hispanic, Asian, and Jewish communities. He also works as a Division I College Basketball analyst/commentator for ESPN networks.
He worked in collegiate athletics for over 20 years as a successful Head Men's Basketball Coach and Athletic Administrator. He was also named Coach of The Year on several occasions, leading programs to several championships and NCAA tournament appearances.
He was also just elected to serve on the DEI Board of Commission for United States of America (USA) Weightlifting.
