EP.38 Black representation on the big screen has come a long way, but with the #blacklivesmatter movement and more minority groups protesting in the streets for more representation... research shows there is still room for growth. For some young people, portrayals of minorities in the media not only affect how others see them, but it affects how they see themselves. I chat with Tiffany Callender (@iamtiffanycallender) Executive Director of the Côte-Des-Neiges Black Community Association about being a Black female minority in North America, American politics, why young people can't be what they don't see and how to stop chasing titles and focus on serving your community.
