Tondalaya is a STEM Teacher for her program called Club Lab Rascals. She believes children should be allowed to explore, be curious, and experiment. T is passionate about representing black and brown skin, as well as, showing those cultures in her career field of STEH, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Music. * if you're not exposed to something how can you show interest?

* black and brown people are under-represented in STEM

* our philosophy is to represent black and brown, show more representation through our guest and history lessons, and make it available in our communities

* black and brown people are under-represented ins STEM

* I started in my living room with some friends

* My goal was to get out of my living not to become a national STEM Program Director

* bring something to my community for my kids and for other's to have the same opportunities

* I get along with the children well because I listen to the kids and let them know their voice matters

* I didn't think 2 working parents could homeschool but we make it work

* I want Club Lab Rascals to become a household name in homes and schools

* We want our children to become a Lab Rascal by:

      * embracing curiosity

      * exploring

      * problem solving

      * love learning

* We want our parents to make sure their children are loved and heard

* We work on balance daily

* The two main areas of our focus of influence is to represent black and brown skin and to expose our children early to diverse career fields
