Kayla is joined by Natasha Hines, a registered nurse and chair of Wellness Within, a volunteer-based non-profit organization dedicated to supporting women, transgender, and nonbinary individuals who have experienced criminalization and are pregnant or parenting. As an advocate for safe, inclusive reproductive healthcare, Natasha discusses the organization’s work in advancing health equity, reproductive justice, and prison abolition. Through advocacy, collaboration, education, and research, Wellness Within seeks to address the unique challenges faced by incarcerated individuals regarding reproductive health.
