Laura McGladrey interviews Tod Schimelpfenig, Curriculum Director for National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) Wilderness Medicine. They discuss Tod's 40+ year career in EMS, Wilderness Medicine, and teaching with NOLS, as well as the changing nature of dealing with stress injuries as responders over that time. They end with an exploration of the inclusion of Psychological First Aid in the curriculum of all NOLS Wilderness Medicine courses.
