Dr. Kevin L. MacPherson (e-mail, ResearchGate, Twitter) of the University of Florida is interviewed by Stephen M. Shaffer regarding a publication from the Journal of Manual & Manipulative Therapy titled, “Perceptions of the professional and personal impact of hybrid fellowship training: a qualitative study.” This episode contains information that will be interesting for practitioners who want to gain a better understanding of the potential benefits, both positive and negative, post-professional training in orthopaedic manual therapy can have on physical therapists. Of note, during the interview Dr. MacPherson refers to an additional study (Whitman et al 2020) from which the data for the current study was collected.
