Recently, I was facilitating a workshop for some middle managers in a health facility when something I suspected was reinforced in a powerful way… In fact, as I reflect on the conversation as it unfolded, there was definitely an undertone of anger and hostility.

They are operating within a paradigm that dictates a certain approach and commitment to work and life; choices are limited and it's not ok to step outside the lines. However, they are encountering a generation that appears to have decided the predefined box of how work and life is, does NOT work for them.
