Resentment is defined as a feeling of anger due to real or imaginary injury or offence.  It is often said that resentment is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.  This sounds insane but let's take it a bit further with a powerful question:  Who or what are you drinking poison for and whose death are you waiting on? 

Resentment makes you feel as though you are in control.  However, resenting someone or something is actually giving up your control.  Revenge is the ragging fire that consumes the ARSONIST!.
