Arguably the greatest debut film of all time, Quentin Tarantino's  1992 masterpiece Reservoir Dogs began the reputation that Tarantino  would develop over the next three decades for incredibly insightful and  specific casting. It feels nearly impossible to imagine these characters  played by anyone else, as they leap off the screen not as performances  but as whole human beings.
