The Jerusalem church described in Acts 2 practiced radical generosity. They were said to have “everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need” (Acts 2:44-45). Having everything in common? Selling property and possessions? Is this for us here and now, or was this merely a description of them there and then?
