The Jerusalem church described in Acts 2 was a worshiping church. Their worship is described with words and phrases such as “filled with awe” and “glad and sincere hearts praising God.” Worship is not first and foremost about church services or music, it is first and foremost about a posture of heart and mind…the heart of worship. What would it mean for us to press reset and to devote ourselves to being joy-filled and celebratory worshipers of Jesus?
